Annually, the Western Property Owners Association (WPOA) awards two students with a scholarship. These students are recognized for being active in community service and student life at the Garden City High School. At the the recent Senior Awards Ceremony, WPOA President RoseAnn Vernice presented Christian McGannon with the “Western Property Owners Association Scholarship” and John Protano with the “Western Property Owners Association Scholarship in Memory of Past Presidents John Traxler, Paul Muscarella and Thomas Whalen.” Congratulations to both award winners.
