Police Seeking Burglar

Police are looking for a man who attacked a woman outside her Westbury residence after burglarizing her home on Thursday, Jan. 29 at 5:20 p.m. 

Burglary_WEBAccording to detectives, a 21 year old female victim exited her vehicle and proceeded to the rear of the residence on Oliver Avenue to enter her basement apartment.  When the victim observed the door to her apartment open she turned to leave and was grabbed by a male black subject who demanded money.  The subject attempted to force the victim back into the apartment but she refused and dropped to the ground.  The subject described as a black male , 5’9”, 20-25 years old, with a mustache, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, fled towards front of residence. Proceeds were two ladies watches. There were no reported injuries.
